Its not what you look at that matters, its what you see." - Henry David Thoreau
My photography is grounded in a practice of seeing. Again and again I am drawn to the unexpected beauty in the everyday subjects that I encounter. It is a question of significance that interests me. Taking photographs allows me to capture such nuances that may oftentimes be overlooked. I find that the exploration of formal elements and space enhances my experience within an environment, and ultimately it is this visceral sense that I intend to interpret and represent through my work.
